The Show We Crashed…

If you’ve seen the video I posted about the fun we had at stART In The Park, you’ll see that we paid a visit to The Snow Ghost show (also taping at the festival). I’ve found the video they made and thought I’d share. It’s fun stuff

Fun at the stART In The Park event

We joined up with Kaz Gamble of worcesterlove.com to capture the fun at stART. Kaz visits with festival attendees, Jacob Berendes of HBML Junk Shoppe, Sarah from imfromworcester.com, and WCCA-TV’s Snow Ghost. Kaz also visits with his dad.

It was a lot of fun to make this video. My very favorite thing about it though is the way all the bloggers interacted that day. It was really good to meet these people and (in some cases) become part of their own postings on what they saw.

Check out the postings and you’ll see the different points of view.

Anyway, we had a great time with Kaz (THANK YOU!!) and at the festival (THANK YOU START FOLKS!!).

I can’t wait for September!

Worcester Love 005 - Worcester Earn-A-Bike

Kaz and Andrea visited the Worcester Earn-A-Bike program located on King Street at the Stone Soup Community Center. It looks like they had a lot of fun (again) learning about how to Earn-A-Bike.

Worcester Earn-A-Bike is a community program that teaches everyone age 9 & up how to repair bicycles. People can sign on to volunteer at the bike repair shop. After they have worked for 5 hours they can choose one of the bicycles to keep. Bicycles are donated to the program.

The shop is open for volunteers or donations at these times:
Wednesday 4:30 - 7:00 pm
Thursday 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Woman’s Night)

Saturday 2:00 - 4:30 pm
Sunday 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (ages 17 and over)
