Well, we went out to First Night Worcester. It was OK.
I was a bit disappointed because I didn’t make it home in time to catch Industrial Sonic Echo. They were scheduled ridiculously early - 6pm. I say early because they are not exactly something for the kids so I would have thought they’d be playing a little later in the evening. Foo.
Oh well, the Aud. looked pretty. The sand sculptures were neat. People looked like they were having fun. There appeared to be good turn-outs for the bands in the Mass. College of Pharmacy and DCU performances.
Anyway, it was good to get out and see some friends. It was a nice evening for a walk.

Well, today I think I’ve gotten a better clue as to why I was so “blah” about going out to First Night 2008 (besides being very sad at missing ISE). I appear to have caught a cold. No wonder I was not having as much fun as everyone else seemed to be having. I guess the good news is that by this time of year I’ve usually had multiple colds and this is the first one of this season. Just in time for all the really nasty cold weather. Foo again.
