WordPress as CMS: Course Catalogs

The Evening and Online program needed a web-friendly way to publish their course catalogs. I chose to build the catalogs using a custom application of WordPress as a CMS. This allowed the catalogs to be free-standing mini-sites that were easy to update and manage. Students can now search the catalogs effectively to find the information they need. It’s a much better experience than the PDF downloads previously used.

WordPress also makes replicating the catalog for new locations, archiving and backing-up older versions very easy.
